2020 was an unusual, extraordinary year, and definitely one that will go down in history. A sudden pandemic swept across the globe, presenting each of us with unique challenges and choices. As we stand on the last day of 2020 and look back at the end of the year, it is certain that everyone will have different reflections. Conceptfe’s achievements this year can be summarized in four key Chinese characters, which carry the meanings of "uphold", "embrace", "adapt" and "transform".
Conceptfe upheld the leadership of the Party and the country, actively engaged in pandemic prevention and control work, and accelerated the resumption of work and production. When the pandemic broke out in January 2020 and Wuhan was locked down, fluoropolymers, as one of the key materials for medical equipment, were in urgent need for customers’ production. On January 26 (the second day of the first lunar month), Tong Xiaoye, Chairman of Conceptfe, personally led employees to arrange the delivery of goods, making a contribution to the fight against the pandemic. In February, the company actively communicated with the Deqing government, obtained approval to resume work as part of the first batch of enterprises, and made overall plans for pandemic prevention and control while promoting the resumption of work and production.
It repaid and gave back to society. During the pandemic, medical workers stayed on the frontline day and night to safeguard local safety, which ensured our peace in the rear. Tong, Chairman of Conceptfe, led local female entrepreneurs to express sympathy to the families of frontline medical workers, thanked them for supporting their family members' work, and presented condolence funds. In addition, Conceptfe made donations of money and materials on several occasions, demonstrating an enterprise's sense of social responsibility in extraordinary times.
It changed the company name. In April 2020, "Conceptfe Plastics" was officially renamed "Conceptfe New Materials". In the future, while focusing on refining and optimizing PTFE materials, Conceptfe will provide customers with comprehensive solutions for special engineering plastic profiles and machining.
It broke down the whole into parts (pursued a "decentralized management model"). In 2020, Conceptfe New Materials (Conceptfe) actively advanced reforms, invested tens of millions of yuan in new equipment, and introduced high-level talents. Through independent accounting among departments, it gave full play to the initiative of each employee and improved production efficiency, striving to provide customers with better products and more optimized services.
In 2020, we lived up to our time and embraced changes; in 2021, we will continue to strive, and the future holds great promise.
