On May 24th, the Zhejiang Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association held its 7th General Assembly. Wang Wenxu, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government; Tong Guili, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairperson of Zhejiang Women's Federation; Fang Fang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairperson; and She Xinhe, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Civil Affairs attended the conference. Nearly 400 entrepreneurs from across the province gathered online.
At the event, Vice Governor Wang Wenxu, on behalf of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, warmly congratulated the successful convening of the conference and the establishment of the new council. He highly recognized the significant contributions made by women entrepreneurs across the province to Zhejiang's economic development.
Chairperson Tong Guili extended greetings to women entrepreneurs across the province who are striving in the main battlefield of economic construction. She fully affirmed the 6th Council for "having depth in ideological and political guidance," "having strength in serving enterprise development," "having breadth in promoting political participation," and "having warmth in fulfilling social responsibilities," noting that all work was carried out vibrantly. She also put forward suggestions and hopes for the work of the new council.
At the meeting, Ms. Tong Xiaoye, Chairperson of Zhejiang Conceptfe New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., was elected Vice President of the Zhejiang Women Entrepreneurs Association and awarded the title of "Advanced Individual in Charitable Public Welfare for Assisting Women and Children".
Chairperson Tong has not only interpreted the spirit of female entrepreneurs characterized by practical work and innovation through concrete actions, but also actively engaged in charitable undertakings for women and children. She has done her utmost to help vulnerable groups and participated in social public welfare activities such as social donations for years. From 2008 to 2022, she donated money to impoverished mothers for 15 consecutive years; since 2009, she has established the "Xiaoye Love Award", which has helped and supported more than 300 impoverished mothers. She has also been successively awarded titles including "National Model Worker for Women's Contributions", "Zhejiang March 8th Red Banner Pacesetter", and "Advanced Individual of the Zhejiang Branch of the Chinese Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee (2017-2021)".
Chairperson Tong has always cherished a strong sense of family and country, held firm to the belief in development, continuously promoted innovation, fulfilled social responsibilities, and forged ahead with determination despite difficulties.
